Here are my thoughts on the article and what they left out:. Certainly there are very different realities among the different types of people who reside in Minneapolis. Some may be more romantic; others even more bleak than the sad outline I provided above. I represent the something U of M grad who is still friends with mostly all her college friends, friends of those friends, and friends from work. Winter also plays a huge part in our disjointed dating scene.

I don’t need a whole lot of women, I just want an easy time dating the women that are available. A good example of what I mean: I don’t want to be somewhere that has 50 women and only 5 are willing to date me. I would prefer a place with 25 women and 20 are willing to date me. League54 I don’t know how to compare it to those cities except to say it’s no New York. Maybe Atlanta would be the closest, but Minneapolis has less transplants. But, those are all bigger metro areas. It’s probably on par with most of the metro areas of the same size, but punches above it’s weight compared to other mid-western cities and lags behind similar sized cities on the coast like San Diego and Portland.
